+Unter dem Motto Technikf(|l)u(g|ch) laden wir euch zum Auftakt der 42. Kalenderwoche vom **12. bis 13.10.2024** zu einem gemütlichen Geekend nach Chemnitz ins [Subbotnik](https://subbotnik-chemnitz.de/) ein. Der Fokus soll auf den Themen Medien, KI und technischen Invovationen von damals und heute liegen. Dabei soll nicht nur der Umgang mit dieser Technik, sondern auch deren Einfluss auf die Gesellschaft eine Rolle spielen. Der Eintritt ist frei, über Spenden freuen wir uns aber sehr. Wir eröffnen hiermit den Call for Participation. Eure Einreichungen könnt ihr uns gerne bis **08.09.2024** unter cfp@interfug.de zusenden.

+Die Interfug soll unser jährlicher Beitrag für mehr Chaos im Osten werden. Mit dem Subbotnik als Verstaltungsort haben wir eine geeignete Location gefunden, die uns ausreichend Platz und ein passendes Ambiente bietet. Durch die Nähe zur Uni gibt es ein ausreichendes Nahrungsangebot in der Umgebung und wir hoffen, das Chaos unter den Studierenden bekannter zu machen. Die Location bleibt über Nacht geöffnet und auch die durchgängige Mateversorgung sollte sichergestellt sein.
+Der Hauptraum (ehemaliger Speisesaal) wird während der Veranstaltung voraussichtlich (optisch) halbiert. Den Teil mit der Bühne können wir tagsüber für Vorträge nutzen. Am Samstag Abend teilen wir uns das Gebäude mit einem passenden Konzert (leider noch nicht offiziell angekündigt). 
+Im Foyer wird es daher weitere Sitzgelegenheiten mit reduziertem Geräuschpegel geben.

+Als kleine Attraktion planen wir einen Verschenktisch für eure überschüssigen Elektronikkomponenten, bringt also gerne interessante Elektronikgeräte (keinen Schrott) mit und wir schauen mal was für feiner Fug aus den Teilen entsteht. Wir hoffen, dass ihr uns am Ende der Veranstaltung beim leeren des Tisches helft und wir so nur eine überschaubare Menge zum Wertstoffhof fahren müssen.

+Wir freuen uns auf eure Einreichungen in Form von Talks, Workshops und Kunstprojekten. Bitte gebt diesen einen aussagekräftigen Titel und eine informative Kurzbeschreibung. Eure Präsentationen sollten 20 oder 45 Minuten nicht überschreiten. Beachtet bitte auch, dass wir aktuell ohne separaten Workshop-Raum planen und ihr euch je nach Workshop-Größe gegebenenfalls in eine Ecke zurückziehen müsst. Sollte ein erhöhter Bedarf bestehen, werden wir das bei der Flächenplanung noch berücksichtigen. Aktuell können wir noch nicht sagen, ob es von den Talks Aufzeichnungen geben wird. Teilt uns trotzdem bitte schon mit, ob Ihr einer Aufzeichnung zustimmen würdet.

+Under the motto Technikf(|l)u(g|ch) we invite you to a cozy geekend in Chemnitz at [Subbotnik](https://subbotnik-chemnitz.de/) to kick off the 42nd calendar week from **12 to 13.10.2024**. The focus will be on the topics of media, AI and technical innovations from then and now. Not only the use of this technology, but also its influence on society will play a role. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. We hereby open the Call for Participation. You are welcome to send us your submissions by **08.09.2024** at cfp@interfug.de.

+The Interfug will be our annual contribution to more Chaos in Eastern Germany. With the Subbotnik as our venue, we have found a suitable location that offers us enough space and a suitable atmosphere. Due to its proximity to the university, there is a sufficient supply of food in the area and we hope to make Chaos better known among students. The location will remain open overnight and the continuous supply of Mate should also be guaranteed.
+The main room (former dining hall) will probably be (visually) halved during the event. We can use the part with the stage for lectures during the day. On Saturday evening we will share the building with a suitable concert (unfortunately not yet officially announced).
+There will therefore be additional seating in the foyer with a reduced noise level.

+As a small attraction, we are planning a give-away table for your surplus electronic components, so please bring interesting electronic devices (no scrap) and we will see what fine "Fug" is made from the parts. We hope that you will help us empty the table at the end of the event so that we only have to take a manageable amount to the recycling center.

+We look forward to receiving your submissions in the form of talks, workshops and art projects. Please give them a meaningful title and an informative short description. Your presentations should not exceed 20 or 45 minutes. Please also note that we are currently planning without a separate workshop room and that you may have to retreat to a corner depending on the size of the workshop. If there is an increased demand, we will take this into account when planning the space. At the moment we cannot say whether there will be recordings of the talks. Nevertheless, please let us know whether you would agree to a recording.
